MealPrepPro and Siri work together to help you plan your meals and groceries.
You can ask Siri:
What's for dinner in MealPrepPro (or lunch or breakfast)
What's my next meal in MealPrepPro
Create meal plan in MealPrepPro
Open shopping in MealPrepPro
If you want to get more advanced, you can also create your own Shortcuts.
For example, you could create a shortcut to log all your meals as Eaten at 8pm everyday.
Here's how:
Open the Apple Shortcuts app
Open the All Shortcuts folder
Tap the + button
In the search bar search for MealPrepPro
You'll see a bunch of actions available
Tap on set eaten
Choose the course
Repeat for all the courses
For convenience, we've created a template you can copy.
Once you've saved your shortcut, tap in to Automation.
Create a new automation, set your trigger (for example time of day) and then choose your new shortcut.
There are a lot of possibilities with Shortcuts:
Get all shopping - Get your shopping list as a text
Open plan creator - Launch MealPrepPro and open the plan creator
Open shopping - Launch MealPrepPro and open All Items in shopping
Set Eaten - Log a course from today as Eaten
What's for Breakfast - Get Siri to tell you what your breakfast is
What's for Lunch - Get Siri to tell you what your lunch is
What's for Dinner - Get Siri to tell you what your dinner is
What's up next - Get Siri to tell you what your next meal is
